A serial killer is someone who murders two or more individuals at different times. For example, if a man murders a prostitute on the day of Easter, murders another on mother’s day, and then another on Memorial Day, then he would be classified as a serial killer. Types of serial killers The Medical Killer This type of killer is very rare. This killer feels they have a clear alibi because they are in the medical occupation. Therefore whenever people in the hospitals pass away, it does not necessarily look like a murder. They make the death appear as a natural cause so no one would expect that the victims were murdered. The Organized Killer This type of serial killer is the most difficult to identify and capture. This style has three additional subcategories which are lust, thrill, and comfort. Lust This category within the hedonistic style is for killers whose main motive is sex. Fantasizing about victims dead or alive, the killer is satisfied once they have killed those victims. The more they torture their victims, the more sexual aroused they become. Thrill The motive for a thrill killer is to make the victims terrified of them or to induce pain. Killers with this motive is looking for that adrenaline rush through killing victims. These predators kill for the kill. Comfort The killers are seeking a comfortable lifestyle.
